Job summary

Jobgether SRL is partnering with a US-based client to fill a Tendering and Proposal Specialist role on a full-time remote basis. You will transform customer requirements and tender documentation into accurate, competitive proposals, coordinating with sales, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to gather technical and commercial inputs.

This position blends commercial analysis, cost benchmarking, risk assessment, and schedule management to ensure timely, compliant bids.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in tendering, bidding, quotation prep, or similar commercial role.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical, financial and market data.
  • Experience developing accurate quotations and assessing costs and pricing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tendering/CRM tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents to understand requirements, scope, deliverables and submission expectations.
  • Prepare accurate, competitive quotations using cost analysis and market benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations and stakeholders to consolidate inputs.
  • Manage tender schedules and submission timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Analyze opportunities and advise bid/no-bid decisions based on potential and resources.
  • Identify, evaluate and communicate risks related to bids, pricing and solutions.
  • Maintain tender documentation and perform quality and compliance checks.
  • Engage with customers for clarifications to ensure requirements are understood.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulations and tendering guidelines.
  • Suggest process improvements to strengthen proposal quality and efficiency.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tendering and Proposal Specialist based in the United States.


This full-time remote role sits at the intersection of sales, engineering, commercial strategy, and operations.


You will transform customer requirements and tender documentation into accurate, competitive, and compelling proposals.


The position combines commercial analysis, pricing, risk assessment, project coordination, and stakeholder management.


You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring together technical and commercial expertise for each bid.


Your work will directly influence bid quality, customer relationships, and business growth.

Accountabilities


  • Review tender documentation thoroughly to understand customer requirements, scope, deliverables, and submission expectations.

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations using cost analysis, market benchmarks, and relevant commercial information.

  • Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to gather and consolidate technical and commercial inputs.

  • Manage tender schedules and submission timelines, ensuring proposals are complete, compliant, accurate, and delivered on time.

  • Analyze bid opportunities and contribute to informed bid/no-bid decisions based on commercial potential, requirements, and available resources.

  • Identify, evaluate, and communicate risks associated with bids, contracts, pricing, estimates, and proposed solutions.

  • Maintain clear and accurate tender documentation while conducting quality and compliance checks throughout the proposal process.

  • Engage with customers when clarification is required, helping ensure requirements are understood and supporting a positive customer experience.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal procedures, external regulations, and relevant tendering guidelines.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to strengthen proposal processes, efficiency, quality, and consistency.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in tendering, bidding, quotation preparation, proposal management, or a closely related commercial role.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret technical, financial, commercial, and market information.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop accurate quotations and assess costs, pricing, and commercial considerations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using tendering, CRM, or comparable business systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and commercial teams.

  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and compliance.

  • Ability to identify risks, investigate complex requirements, and develop practical solutions.

  • Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented approach with an interest in continuous process improvement.
