Job description

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Tender Truck Driver to join our crew! This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference while providing top-notch service to our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Deliver Excellence : Safely and efficiently transport fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to applicators and customers, providing exceptional service.
  • Hands-On Equipment Management : Load and unload fertilizers and chemicals, fill anhydrous ammonia tanks, and take pride in the upkeep and repair of vehicles and equipment. Promptly report any issues to management.
  • Elevator Operations : Assist with elevator operator duties as needed, including loading / unloading grain, monitoring equipment, and helping maintain a clean and safe elevator facility.
  • Customer Service : Respond to customer needs, manage concerns with professionalism, and foster strong relationships by ensuring satisfaction.
  • Prioritize Safety : Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and governmental regulations, promoting safety awareness both on and off the job.
  • Team Collaboration : Work together with team members across locations to achieve company goals and assist with various tasks.
  • Continuous Development : Participate in training and safety meetings to stay current with industry best practices and improve your skills.
  • Efficient Communication : Complete paperwork accurately and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management in both written and verbal formats.

Requirements

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with agronomy and equipment preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B)
