Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Tenant Services Coordinator in Houston to provide customer service for tenants and vendors within the Property Management function. You will support the team with administrative duties, maintain lease-related files, and assist with rent collection and invoicing processes.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
  • Basic math skills such as percentages, discounts and markups.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with administrative tasks including answering phones and communicating with tenants.
  • Maintain files such as insurance certificates and leases.
  • Coordinate with Building Technicians and vendors to list maintenance items.
  • Prepare lease administration documents such as lease abstracts as directed.
  • Support lease administration activities like lease set up and changes, and reporting.
  • Input invoices into the accounting system and forward originals to accounting for payment.
  • Communicate rent collection information to tenants as appropriate.

About The Role

As a CBRE TenantServices Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing customer service support totenants and vendors. This job is part ofthe Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalfof a client or group.

What You'll Do
  • Assist the teamwith various administrative tasks. This includes answering phones,

communicating withtenants, filing and copying.

  • Maintain files,including insurance certificates and leases.
  • Work with BuildingTechnicians and vendors to compile a list of maintenance items.
  • Prepare internallease administration documents such as lease abstracts as

directed.

  • Partake in leaseadministration activities including lease set up, lease changes,

reporting etc.

  • Submit invoicesfor payment by inputting them into the accounting system. Forward

original invoices toaccounting for payment.

  • Engage in rentcollection communications and phone contact with tenant where

permitted.

  • Use existingprocedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited

opportunity toexercise discretion.

  • Impact throughclearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail
  • Deliver own outputby following defined procedures and processes under close

supervision andmentorship.
