The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is recruiting a full-time, permanent Tenant’s Rights Advocate in Las Vegas. The role screens low income clients for eligibility, assesses legal needs, provides legal information under attorney supervision, and conducts related research.

Starting salary ranges from $41,000 to $52,000 per year, with annual increases. Excellent benefits include 100% employer paid health insurance for employees and dependents up to 26, a 403B match up to 5%, 12 weeks paid

Qualifications

• Legal knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and public interaction skills are necessary.
• Prefer bilingual candidate, English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Screen low income clients for eligibility for legal aid.
• Assess clients' legal needs.
• Provide legal information to clients under the supervision of an attorney.
• Conduct related research.
