Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering is seeking an Experienced Structural Engineer for its Temporary Works group. You will brainstorm innovative designs, perform and review structural calculations, develop plans, and help manage risks to keep construction crews safe.

This role includes on-site coordination and mentoring junior staff across multiple projects. Based in Westlake, TX, Omaha, NE, or Lenexa, KS, relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
• Master's in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience with temporary structures/construction engineering.
• License as a Professional Engineer (US) or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and calculations for temporary works and construction methods.
• Review calculations and design drawings for codes and criteria.
• Identify design risks and assist with mitigation planning.
• Support project management: budgets, schedules, coordination with clients.
• Provide on-site engineering support and mentoring to E.I.T.'s.
