Job summary

Community Action Pioneer Valley is seeking a Temporary WIC Nutritionist to provide nutrition assessment, education, and counseling for perinatal families and young children across Greenfield, Hadley, and Orange, MA.

The role requires travel to Hadley, Greenfield, and Orange offices, typically 2 days Hadley, 2 days Greenfield, and 1 day Orange per week, with some evenings and occasional weekends. The position is temporary for 6 months with a 37.5-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Provides nutrition and health assessment, education, and counseling to participants in individual and group settings.
• Works with the WIC team to develop nutrition and programmatic improvements for service delivery and participant experience.
• This position involves serving at multiple sites with some evenings and occasional weekends.
