The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Utah to handle receiving, storage, and shipping duties, and to balance loads for efficient distribution.

The role is temporary with training opportunities, requiring forklift operation certification within 6 weeks and the ability to lift heavy loads. Strong English, math, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, or related experience preferred.
• Experience operating motorized material handling equipment, including forklifts, preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Church forklift/material handling equipment certification within 6 weeks of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Valid driver's license required when job duties include operating vehicles, with appropriate licensing for the vehicle(s) driven.
• Must be able to lift, move, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance from another person.
• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps to store and retrieve materials.
• Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack carrying loads up to 2,500 pounds.
• Must be willing to attend training during the first year of employment to develop knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Demonstrates the physical capability and flexibility required to work in a warehouse and distribution environment.
