Overview

The regular work schedule is 1st Shift / 7am to 3:30pm / Sunday-Thursday. Additional days or overtime may be required to meet daily demands.

About the Role:

As a core member of our distribution team, you will be expected to:

1. Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to meet departmental minimum requirements for units per hour and accuracy.
2. Work in our frozen warehouse picking orders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced environment to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
• Tolerance for working in a frozen environment at -20°F, with provided freezer suits and more frequent breaks.
• Commitment to Perry’s values.
• Willingness to learn and follow Department-specific Safe Quality Food requirements and safety guidelines.
• Flexibility to work daily overtime as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to work in extremely cold environments below -20°F.
• Capable of pushing/pulling up to 2000 lbs. on carts, dollies, and pallets within temperatures of -20°F for extended periods.
• Stand and walk for up to 12 miles per shift while maintaining footing on icy/slippery floors.
• Use proper lifting and bending techniques from ground level to overhead.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Successfully complete OSHA certification for powered industrial vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Base Pay Rate: $19.27/hour
