Job summary

Salt River Project in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Temporary Material Handler-Warehouse to perform receiving, storing and issuing of materials under limited supervision. The role involves using warehouse systems, coordinating with planners and buyers, and ensuring accurate documentation of transactions.

Experience in Supply Chain or Water Delivery roles is preferred. The position may require out-of-town work and shift changes, with safety certifications such as Physical Agility Test considered

Qualifications

• Experience as an Utilityman in Supply Chain/Water Delivery, Tradeshelper in Water Delivery/Line, or equivalent experience.
• Subject to out-of-town work, call-outs and changing shifts.
• Testing: Physical Agility Test

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and issues material, supplies and equipment and completes all documentation associated with those functions.
• May initiate purchase requests including open order requisitions, or write emergency pickup orders for special items as needed.
• Safely and competently operates all equipment associated with material handling.
• Utilizes computerized warehouse management systems and tools for planning, assigning, tracking and reporting of work activities.
• Interfaces with Supply Chain partners and vendors to meet material reservations.
• Works within a team to meet material needs and may lead team members to facilitate completion of projects.
