Job Title : Temporary Test Technician and Simulation Driver – 2nd Shift – Syracuse, NY

About the position :

We’re looking for a Temporary Test Technician and Simulation Driver to join our team on 2nd shift. As a temporary employee in this position you will :

• Drive various forklift truck products for standard tests.
• Work in an Engineering Lab environment to build prototype components / material handling vehicles, using hand and power tools.
• Set-up and operate / drive test equipment, vehicles, prototypes, fixtures or product for standard tests as well as new and unusual tests. Perform tests per defined procedures.
• Record test data manually
• Transfer manual notes and observations into Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
• Work in both a team and individual environment.
• Communicate issues to other technicians, engineers, and managers with an approach that supports and develops teamwork and timely completion of projects.

About the schedule :

This position is 2nd shift from 3 : 00pm – 11 : 00pm. There is also the potential for overtime.

About you :

• Possess a high school diploma.
• Basic hand tool and assembly experience / knowledge.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, adaptable, and dependable.
• Basic computer understanding (use of Microsoft products).

It would be great if you had :

• 1 year of experience
• Basic electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting experience

About the total compensation package :

Wage -$ per hour + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.
