Job summary

The Alam Lab at the University of Kentucky is seeking a Temporary Technician to assist in the lab. You will perform routine scientific tasks under close supervision, including Immunoblot, Protein expression and purification, qPCR and cell culture analysis.

Responsibilities include gathering data, maintaining records, monitoring inventory, purchasing supplies, and keeping the lab organized and safe while supporting investigators. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with some weekends required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Immunoblot, Protein expression, Purification, PCR and cell culture.
