An established industry player is seeking a Tech Planning Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead the implementation of critical tech planning tools for its Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements vertical. This role offers the chance to work on significant initiatives, including the rollout of Trade Plan Management and enhancements to Kinaxis Rapid Response. You will be at the forefront of a fast-growing business, collaborating with senior leadership and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. If you have a passion for technology and a knack for strategic problem-solving, this opportunity is perfect for you.
THE ROLE: VMS (OLLY, Smarty Pants Vitamins) Tech Planning Project Manager/Business Analyst
Since October 2023, OLLY and Smarty have come together under a single business vertical called VMS (Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements). The VMS Tech team supports both businesses by delivering critical capabilities. This role is responsible for implementing the VMS tech planning suite, which includes Trade Plan Management (TPM) and Kinaxis Rapid Response. The TPM rollout is a new initiative, while the Kinaxis implementation focuses on enhancing OLLY's existing Kinaxis tool and extending its functionality to Smarty. This ensures both businesses can operate with a unified tool and process for planning. Integration with D365 for both TPM and Kinaxis is also within the project scope. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a series of successful go-lives and act as the key liaison between implementation partners—working directly with the vendor for TPM and Unilever for Kinaxis—and the business. This includes defining clear project outcomes and managing their successful execution. Additionally, the role involves strategic responsibilities, such as evaluating future integrations for acquisitions, developing the new Tech and Data team within VMS, and identifying opportunities to drive value through technology. The individual in this role will gain significant exposure to senior leadership, presenting project updates to the steering committee and the VMS Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of a fast-growing business, contributing to key initiatives and playing a pivotal role in achieving business objectives.
