LEGO Manufacturing Virginia is seeking a Temporary Team Coordinator to lead daily production activities, coordinate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and performance goals are met on the 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. night shift.

You will guide teams, run daily meetings, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with support teams to resolve issues and maintain efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar environment.
• Previous team lead experience or ability to guide production teams daily.
• Machine operator or production equipment experience.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production standards.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate daily work and resources amid changing priorities.
• Willingness to work the 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. night shift.

Are you an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys leading teams, solving problems, and helping drive safety, quality, and operational excellence? As a Temporary Team Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting daily production operations, coordinating team activities, and helping ensure production targets are achieved while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement at LEGO Manufacturing Virginia.

Compensation & Schedule Starting Pay: $25.71/hr. Schedule: Night Shift, 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily production activities to support safety, quality, delivery, and performance targets.
• Provide day-to-day operational leadership and guidance to production team members.
• Lead daily team meetings to communicate priorities, safety topics, performance expectations, and operational updates.
• Coordinate team assignments and resources based on production priorities and changing operational needs.
• Monitor production performance and elevate safety, quality, equipment, staffing, or delivery concerns when necessary.
• Serve as a first point of support for team members, helping troubleshoot production issues and remove operational barriers.
• Conduct process confirmations and 5S audits to support established safety, quality, and production standards.
• Promote compliance with PPE requirements, ergonomic practices, environmental procedures, and LEGO Group safety standards.
• Drive 5S, LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI), and waste-reduction activities within the production area.
• Track and communicate production performance, scrap, and other key operational metrics.
• Support onboarding, training, cross-training, coaching, and technical skill development for team members.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other support teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes.

This role supports the team by coordinating people, priorities, and resources while helping ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production performance. You'll play an important role in building a collaborative, high-performing culture while supporting team development, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar operational environment.
• Previous team lead experience or demonstrated experience providing day-to-day guidance to production teams.
• Machine operator or production equipment experience.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety, quality, and production standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate daily work and resources while responding to changing production priorities.
• Ability to monitor production performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain appropriate concerns.
• Ability to support onboarding, training, coaching, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ability to work the required 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. night shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous team lead experience in a manufacturing or simulation.
• Experience training, coaching, or developing production team members.
• Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI), or similar continuous-improvement programs.
• Experience monitoring production KPIs, scrap, quality, or other operational performance metrics.
• Experience with process confirmations, troubleshooting, and production problem solving.
