Job summary

Fenwick & West is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a temporary assignment of approximately 6 to 9 months in Santa Monica. The role offers a hybrid schedule with two days onsite weekly, and possible additional in-office days based on business needs.

• Partner with hiring managers to review job specs, understand operations and develop recruiting strategies.
• Develop sourcing plans for each opportunity; use proactive recruiting and behavioral interview techniques.
• Create a best-in-class candidate and client experience with speed, quality and clear communication.

This position offers a hybrid schedule and requires 2 days onsite per week at your designated office with the possibility of additional required in-office days depending on business and client needs. This is a full-time exempt position.

Job Description

• Conducts and coordinates candidate screening and interview processes, including reviewing resumes and applications, and referring qualified applicants to hiring managers
• Recommends final candidates to appropriate hiring manager and conducts and coordinates pre-hire and offer processes
• Partner with hiring managers to review, analyze and clarify job specifications and skills required; understand business operations and develop recruiting strategies
• Develop sourcing plans specific to each job opportunity; utilize proactive recruiting and behavioral interview techniques
• Create a “best in class” candidate and client experience by driving speed, quality and effective communication, including status updates

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recruiting experience (law firm or professional services experience a plus), and knowledge of state and federal employment law. Bachelor's degree preferred.

The Anticipated Range For This Position Is

$84,000 - $120,000

Depending on the role, the actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance. Additional information about employee eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonus will be made available upon request.
