Job summary

LL Flooring in Shoreline, WA seeks a Temporary Assistant Store Manager – Sales (ASM2) to support liquidation efforts, assist Store Manager, supervise staff, and maintain warehouse operations; 6-12 week assignment with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

You will help customers choose flooring, drive satisfaction, and contribute to non-traditional retail hours with weekly pay and monthly incentives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer facing experience within sales, retail, hospitality, etc.
• High School degree, GED or equivalent.
• Interest in home improvement and influencing flooring design choices.
• Comfortable with technology, Microsoft Office products and basic computer skills.
• Engaging communication skills and a conversation starter.
• Occasionally lift heavy boxes.
• Willingness to learn and operate a forklift – training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting best options for flooring projects.
• Deliver superior customer service and satisfaction.
• Provide store management support and supervise associates in absence of Store Manager.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance and stockroom organization.
• Proactive selling including outbound sales calls to customers and pros.
