Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Educational Services Certificate and Speech-Language Specialist Endorsement.
• Knowledge of assessment, treatment and prevention of speech, language and hearing disorders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with nonverbal students PK-12.
• Criminal history background check and U.S. citizenship/residency status.
• Willingness to obtain NJ residency within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers treatment programs for children with speech and language deficiencies.
• Provides diagnostic evaluations of pupils referred to the child study team.
• Develops and implements an IEP in conjunction with parents and teachers.
