Job summary

Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools is seeking a special education paraprofessional to assist students with disabilities in the classroom. You will support behavior management, social skills, and assist with data collection, under the supervision of a licensed teacher.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a high school diploma, and adherence to district qualifications. Work hours are 6.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with tentative start immediately through October 9, 2026 and potential

• Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds
• Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team
• Attach passing exam scores from either the ParaPra / ParaEducator or college transcripts to your application.

Job description

Work Hours

6.5 hours per day (8:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.), Monday through Friday, beginning immediately through approximately October 9, 2026 with the possibility of extended time.

Job Duties

• Supervise special education student(s) to ensure safety
• Assist with collecting and monitoring of student progress data.

SALARY And BENEFITS

Salary based on the 2025-2027 School Support Employees Agreement Level V from $20.58 up to $22.91 per hour.
