Job summary

The position is Full-time with an assignment duration of approximately one year, starting ASAP. Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail and enjoy structured testing in a technical setting.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar technical role
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces
• Proficiency running and interpreting Python scripts
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Comfort working on-site in a hands-on, equipment-focused environment
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams

Key Job Functions

• Execute Python scripts and Linux commands using terminal-based applications
• Perform software and firmware testing on equipment under test
• Accurately record pass/fail test results and maintain detailed documentation
• Support testing activities in both laboratory environments and onboard trains
• Assist with troubleshooting software and firmware issues under the guidance of the software engineering team
• Follow established testing protocols, safety standards, and quality procedures
