• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
• Proficiency running and interpreting Python scripts.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Comfort working on-site in a hands-on, equipment-focused environment.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute Python scripts and Linux commands using terminal-based applications.
• Perform software and firmware testing on equipment under test.
• Accurately record pass/fail test results and maintain detailed documentation.
• Support testing activities in both laboratory environments and onboard trains.
• Assist with troubleshooting software and firmware issues under the guidance of the software engineering team.
• Follow established testing protocols, safety standards, and quality procedures.
