Tennessee Board of Regents is seeking Temporary Supplemental Instruction Leaders to support Nashville State students in targeted courses. SI Leaders plan and facilitate collaborative study sessions, attend lectures, and prepare materials to enhance understanding and engagement.

Position is part-time, on-site, with a pay rate of $15.50 per hour. Requires current Nashville State student status, sufficient credit hours, and reliable internet access; ideal for students comfortable guiding peers and

Formación

• Must be a current Nashville State student with 15+ credit hours and a 2.5 GPA.
• Must have earned at least a B in MATH 1000, 1010, or 1530.
• Must have access to a reliable internet connection.

Responsabilidades

• Attend all SI sessions and course lectures, take notes, model professional behavior.
• Create and submit lesson plans and materials for SI sessions for approval.
• Submit attendance records and timesheets to SI Coordinator on time.
• Participate in staff trainings to learn SI strategies.
• Holds additional SI sessions up to four times per semester outside regular sessions.
• Meet with faculty up to 1.5 hours per month as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with course instructors and address concerns.
• Refer students to campus support services when needed.
