Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a Real Estate Senior Consultant (Real Estate Specialist 5) to serve as a senior advisor to the Vice President of Planning, Architecture and Real Estate (PARE) and to support the Real Estate team during a period of transition.

The role partners with leadership to assess structure, capacity, workflows, and resource needs while leading complex projects that advance Real Estate priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• 12+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Understanding of existing university financial structures and policies.
• Four years of experience working directly with medical or higher ed real estate functions.

Responsibilities

• Advise Vice President and leadership on organizational effectiveness of Real Estate team.
• Lead and support complex projects advancing Real Estate priorities.
• Assess organizational structure, staffing, workflows, and resource needs.
• Develop and implement operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Provide analysis, recommendations, and project leadership during departmental transition.
