Job summary

Admiral Security Services in Capitol Heights, MD is seeking a Temporary Security Officer to perform site security duties. The role includes access control, patrols, and enforcing client and company policies while delivering professional customer service.

Applicants must be 21+, able to pass a background check and drug screen, and have at least one year of verifiable work experience; MD Security Guard card is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (we test for Amphetamines, including methamphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana/THC, Phencyclidine and Opiates)
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must have or be able to obtain Maryland Security Guard card.
• One year of verifiable work experience; military, concierge or related AA/BA may be considered.

Temporary PositionSunday - Thursday7:00 pm - 4:00 amSalary- $19.00 HourlyLocation: Capitol Heights, Md. 20743Must have active Drivers License

Immediate Hires Needed

The selected candidate will perform various security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders. These duties may include:

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforcement ofClient and Company policies and procedures.
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.
• Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate.
• Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
