EvE Bio, a nonprofit research organization in North Carolina, is looking for a Temporary Scientist in Receptor Pharmacology for its assay development team. The role involves developing biochemical assays targeting various receptors, requiring expertise in molecular biology and experience in drug discovery. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for a permanent role based on performance.
Durham NC’s EvE Bio is seeking a receptor biochemist/pharmacologist to join its assay development team at the scientist level. This is a temporary position (5 months) with potential for transition to a permanent role, contingent upon a 4-month performance review and company needs.
The successful candidate will adapt existing and develop novel biochemical and cell line-based assays to evaluate the pharmacology of compounds targeting various receptor families, including G protein-coupled receptors and protein kinases. Experience with these receptor families, especially in cell-based assays within a drug discovery or development setting, is required. Candidates should also have molecular biology (e.g., cloning) and tissue culture experience.
Note: Applicants must be current residents of the Research Triangle region of North Carolina; relocation benefits are not provided.
