Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across adolescent, adult and geriatric populations within the nursing process. The RN will coordinate care, assess and implement plans, and communicate with families and other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include Nevada RN licensure, English proficiency, and current BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Working-level knowledge of English reading, writing and speaking.
• Must have education to obtain and maintain RN licensure in Nevada.
• Minimum of one year of experience in the specialty area.
• Current BLS certification; PALS and ACLS per American Heart Association standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care following the nursing process for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient outcomes across an episode of care.
• Coordinate care between other professionals and involve families/caregivers as needed.
• Maintain documentation and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
