Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide optimal patient care across the nursing process for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and their families. The RN is accountable for outcomes over an episode of care and coordinates care with other professionals.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, maintaining standards and continuing education. A state Nevada RN license and BLS are required; multiple certifications may be required within specified

Formación

• Must hold a Nevada RN license and be eligible for licensure in Nevada.
• Current BLS certification by The American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within listed timeframes.
• ENLS/ENPC and other department-specific certifications may be required within specified periods.
• Computer/typing skills adequate to complete online learning, forms and policy enrollment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide optimal patient care using the nursing process for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other professionals to meet patient health goals.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and maintain standards of quality as per unit age-specific competencies.

Educación

State of Nevada Registered Nurse license

POCA license within 120 days of hire

BLS certification by American Heart Association

ACLS certification as required

PALS certification as required

ENLS certification as required

RNFA / advanced certifications as required

Chemotherapy/biotherapy provider training as required

TNCC/TCAR etc. requirements as per dept
