University of Washington Medical Center invites applications for a Temporary Research Study Assistant to support anesthesiology and pain medicine research in perioperative care. The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Temporary Research Study Assistant to join their team.
Reporting to the Associate Professor, the Research Study Assistant will support research projects related to patient safety, build hardware and software innovations to improve perioperative care and safety and support a team of designated colleagues in engineering and data science research conducted in the operating room.
Examples of current projects include (1) measurement of neuromuscular blockade by twitch monitoring, and (2) the use of computer vision to identify anesthesia drug vials and syringes.
