Qualifications

  • Wastewater experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Hoisting license 1C & 2C preferred, required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and maintain records on incoming truck loads.
  • Operate basic wastewater equipment and heavy machinery.
  • Perform landscaping and custodial tasks.

Job description

Weston & Sampson Services is looking for a Temporary Laborer in the Yarmouth Treatment Facility.

What you’ll do:

  • Verify and maintain records on incoming truck loads; sampling of truck loads
  • Verifying and recording incoming material
  • Operate some basic wastewater equipment
  • Maintain data log sheets
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Landscaping and other custodial tasks
  • Responsible to operate some heavy machinery

What you will bring:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Wastewater experience is preferred but not needed
  • A hoisting license of 1C & 2C is preferred, but not necessary
  • Obtaining a hoisting license1C & 2C will be required within 6 months of employment (with incentives)
  • Must be able to climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Familiarity with computers in a Windows based environment
  • Driver’s license required with a safe driving history
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
