Job summary

Columbia University School of Nursing seeks a short-term casual student research worker to support qualitative research across NIH-funded projects on primary care, the healthcare workforce, and care for older adults with chronic diseases including dementia.

The role involves literature reviews, manuscript preparation, participant interview support, and data analysis with NVivo, under grant funding with potential for extra hours up to 20 per week.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MS, MPH or PhD) in public health, social work, or related field.
• Health-related field experience or knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with qualitative interviews, survey data collection, management, and analysis is desired.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; strong writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with literature reviews, grant preparation, and manuscript preparation.
• Support collection of qualitative interview data.
• Aid data cleaning, preparation, management, and analysis.
• Support qualitative data analysis in NVivo.
• Participate in research meetings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
