Job summary

The Coast Community College District is seeking Professional Experts for a pool of short-term, non-classified assignments. These roles require specialized knowledge and are filled on a temporary basis under a Professional Expert Agreement.

Positions provide technical, analytical and administrative support to one or more departments, with duties assigned by a supervisor. This recruitment aims to build a pool to fill needs as they arise; employment is at-will and subject to district policies.

Qualifications

• Level I - Work experience and/or training in related job category is required, including valid licenses and/or certifications, if applicable.
• Level II - Extensive work experience and/or training that is directly related to job category is required, including valid licenses and/or certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of technical, analytical and administrative support duties to one or more departments; executes some, but not all, administrative and office support functions related to the project assignment.
• Exercises good judgment with a mid-level expectation of independent judgment while referring policy decisions to the Supervisor.
