Job summary

Baseball Junior Coach

  • Assist in teaching baseball fundamentals including hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running.
  • Lead small group drills and activities under the supervision of senior staff.
  • Provide positive encouragement and feedback to campers of all skill levels.
  • Supervise campers during games, practices, lunch breaks, and transitions.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment on and around the field.
  • Set up and take down equipment daily.
  • Model good sportsmanship and appropriate behavior at all times.
  • Communicate with Camp Manager about camper progress or behavioral issues.
  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and assist with special events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum age: Requirement – typically 16+
  • Playing experience in baseball (high school, travel, or collegiate level preferred).
  • Prior experience working with youth (preferred but not required).
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to take direction and learn from senior coaching staff.

Salary: $16.00/Hourly
