Job summary

Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a temporary cardiology physician to join its growing practice. You will interview patients, obtain medical histories, and interpret tests to inform treatment plans.

Responsibilities include diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and maintaining comprehensive patient records in a clinical setting. PA licensure is required or eligible to obtain licensure in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and licensed to practice medicine in PA (or eligible).
• Proven patient-care and procedural competencies.
• Strong professional etiquette and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain symptoms, history, and family history.
• Perform and interpret diagnostics as needed.
• Diagnose and design treatment plans for injuries/illnesses and may prescribe medications.
• Maintain records of patient histories, examinations, treatments, and outcomes.

Job Summary:Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a temporary cardiology physician to join its growing practice.

Job Duties:Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. Performs and/or interprets diagnostic tests as needed.Diagnose and design a plan of treatment for injuries and/or illness. May prescribe or administer medications. Prepares, maintains, and reviews records that include patients' histories, examination findings, treatment plans, or outcomes.

Work is typically performed in a clinical and office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
