Nature of position: Temporary, part-time
The School of Social Work is accepting applications for a part-time instructor responsible for teaching social work courses at either the BASW, MSW, and/or DSW level. The School of Social Work, in the College of Education and Human Services, is comprised of 13 faculty members, 1 Field Director, 1 support staff, and approximately 425 students (in fall 2023). The School of Social Work offers degree programs across all three levels (BASW, MSW, DSW), dual degrees in MSW/MSEM (Emergency Management) and MSW/MEd Sport Management, post BASW and post MSW Certificate and Certification programs including the School Social Work and Home and School Visitor Certifications, and minors in Gerontology and Social Justice.
In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.
