Temporary Part-Time Service Worker - Summer

Purpose of Position: Under the general supervision of the Director of Roads and Services and the Service Supervisor, performs technical or specified functions related to Township roadways and landscaping maintenance.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Specific job activities could include, but are not limited to, landscape planting, tree removal, trimming, grass cutting, watering landscape, road maintenance, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Roads and Services, Service Supervisor and/or Township Administrator.

License(s) Required:

• Must have a valid driver’s license for the State of Ohio
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Schedule Requirements: Temporary, Part-time Service Workers are utilized on a schedule of 28 hours per week.

Working Conditions: There may be moderate physical effort, which produces physical fatigue. There is the possibility of unavoidable, continuous exposure to atmospheric conditions and physical environment. Moderate to heavy lifting and moving of objects/equipment may be required. There is the possibility of unpredictable physical hazards, which increases the risk of potential injury.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Benefits: There are no benefits provided for temporary, part-time positions.
