Job description

Temporary Part-Time Pool Attendant (Millpond Village)

WinnCompanies is seeking Pool Attendants to join our team at Millpond Village, a 360-unit residential community in Broad Brook, CT. In this role, you will monitor all activities in the pool area as the designated Winn representative.

The pay range for this position is $16.35 to $17.33 per hour, based on experience. This is a temporary, part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week, and it is not eligible for Winn benefits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area to prevent inappropriate activity, assist as needed, control crowding, and enforce property rules.
• Clean and test the pool daily before opening and as needed during the day. Maintain the pool area in good repair and coordinate with the Certified Pool Operator for maintenance.
• Open and close the pool area daily, ensuring all gates are locked after hours.
• Facilitate contact with medical services in emergencies.
• Maintain activity reports and perform related duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of lifeguarding, surveillance, and rescue experience.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Calm and effective response in emergencies.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
• CPR/AED certification.
