Description of Work:
The Lee County Parks & Recreation Department is seeking Temporary Part-Time Park Attendants for San Lee Park. Applicants must possess the ability to learn outdoor park maintenance, campground operations, boat rental operations, and facility rental operations. Essential functions include operating the NC Rod & Reel Loaner program, maintenance of trails, daily trash routines, opening & closing of park duties, operating a gator utility vehicle and park truck, picking up supplies, cleaning facilities after usage, patrolling the park to enforce park rules, and promoting clean environment procedures. All work is performed under the direction of the Park Operations Manager. Applicants must be able to work weekends and weekday evenings until 8:00 pm.
Requirements:
Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. Good public relations skills are a must. NC Criminal Background Check Required.
