Role Overview

ABS Global, a Genus company, has exciting opportunities! We are looking for Temporary Full-time and Part-time Summer 2025 Production Lab Technicians to oversee production operations, including assembly, processing, and packaging. These positions are located at our labs in Rio, WI and Windsor, WI. The roles involve operating production equipment for processing cell sexing technology, starting in May and June 2025, with potential extension into Fall based on work availability.

The positions are on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with starting pay ranging from $21.00 to $24.00/hr.

You Will

• Follow SOPs and maintain lab documentation.
• Provide accurate and timely packaging of bovine semen according to ABS standards.
• Learn and perform ancillary processes as needed.
• Adhere to cleaning, sanitation, and sterilization protocols.
• Contribute ideas for work environment improvement.
• Communicate issues to relevant personnel.
• Perform duties based on daily production needs.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents.
• Perform other assigned projects and responsibilities.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (or working towards it).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a production laboratory preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including keyboard and mouse.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Working Conditions

• Stand for extended periods.
• Monitor equipment and computers for prolonged periods.
• Occasional exposure to chemicals with PPE provided.

Shift timings and pay rates:

• 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm - $21.00/hr
• 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm - $23.00/hr
• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am - $24.00/hr
