Job summary

The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Georgia Southern University is seeking part-time faculty for the 2025-2026 academic year in Statesboro, GA. Qualifications

• Earned J.D. or a Master's or Doctoral degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology, or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice and Criminology at the time of appointment
• Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
• Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses related to various aspects of the field of criminal justice and criminology
• Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online)
