Princeton Day School in New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Part-time Assistant for Middle School Homework Club from January 4, 2027 through June 8, 2027. The role focuses on supervising after-school students and assisting with homework.

The candidate will work Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00 pm, September through June, with some flexibility for early dismissal days or events. Compensation is $18.00 per hour and the role is not benefits-eligible.

Temporary Part-time Assistant for Middle School Homework Club

Princeton Day School is seeking Temporary Part-time Assistant for Middle School Homework Club from January 4, 2027 through June 8, 2027.

For this position, the ideal candidate is expected to:

• Ensure a safe and orderly environment for our after-school students.
• Assist the Director/Supervisor in the implementation of the after-school care programs including effective management of large groups, small groups and individual children both indoors and outdoors.
• Assist children with homework and manage child pick up. Including answering the after-school cell phone.
• Have experience and/or interest in working with children ages 4-11 and/or 10-14 years.

The successful candidate must be able to:

• Work independently, understand and carry out oral and written directions clearly and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
• Work the following days/hours from September through June :
• Monday through Friday from 3:00-6:00pm (with some flexibility if there are early dismissal days or evening childcare needs, due to events)

Compensation Range : $18.00 an hour this role is not eligible for benefits
