Job summary

Mahoney State Park is seeking hard working individuals to fill security positions at the park. Duties include following up with guest needs that could include maintenance problems or housekeeping issues, helping park staff with projects, event space cleaning and set up, and other duties as needed.

Some knowledge of basic grounds work and maintenance is required, and the ability to lift and move objects such as tables and chairs. Hours for this position are 4pm - 2am.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: at least three months experience in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with needs that may involve maintenance problems or housekeeping issues.
• Help park staff with projects and event space cleaning and setup.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work with staff and guests in the park.

Job Description

Mahoney State Park is looking for hard working and motivated individuals to fill security positions at the park. Duties include: Following up with guest needs that could include maintenance problems or housekeeping issues, helping park staff with projects, event space cleaning and set up, and other duties as needed. Some knowledge of basic grounds work and maintenance is required, and the ability to lift and move objects such as tables and chairs. Hours for this position are 4pm - 2am. Candidate must be able to manage time independently and work well with staff and guests in the park. A valid driver's license is required.
