Job summary

A.R. Mazzotta in Waterford, CT area is seeking an Experienced Paralegal for a temporary assignment of approximately 6 weeks. Prior paralegal experience and solid knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and file management are required.

Qualifications

• Previous professional paralegal experience is required.
• Recent experience in a law firm, legal department or legal environment.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, procedures and file management.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, organizing and maintaining legal documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal office technology.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct paralegal support to attorneys and legal staff.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files.
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with legal correspondence and case-related documentation.
• Conduct legal research and gather information as needed.
• Maintain organized and confidential records.
• Provide general support with day-to-day legal matters.
