Job summary

Westaff is now hiring Temporary Packagers in Fairfax, Vermont. This position offers a steady, hands-on role on a busy production team with a short-term assignment. The role emphasizes accuracy, labeling, and quality checks throughout a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Prior packaging or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Count and verify products for accuracy before displaying them
• Label and mark products, containers, and packaging materials
• Inspect products and packaging to meet quality standards
• Complete required packaging, production, and inventory documentation
• Remove and document defective products or materials
• Seal containers using tape, fasteners, glue, and hand tools
• Move, sort, and organize products, materials, and pallets
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report operational issues to the Lead Packager
