Job summary

Forbes is seeking a Temporary Operations Coordinator to support the Forbes Vetted Best Product Awards, a part-time role up to 25 hours/week from November 2026 to March 2027. It’s a hybrid role with some in-person work at the Forbes office in Jersey City.

You’ll coordinate product samples, purchases and shipments, update trackers, manage tester communications and assist with editorial tasks. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of relevant experience and proficiency with Monday.com or Asana.

Qualifications

• Has at least 1 year of prior relevant experience (including internships) in the consumer-products/editorial space.
• Experience with coordinating samples, shipments, and testers is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with remote teams.

Forbes Vetted is seeking a qualified candidate to assist with operations support for the 2027 Forbes Vetted Best Product Awards. Working in close collaboration with the senior special projects editor, managing editor and our team of editors and writers, the lists coordinator will be responsible for supporting the logistics for the Forbes Vetted Best Product Awards (to launch in March 2027) as well as other lists in our consumer product accolades program.The role will include various operational and administrative tasks related to the Forbes Vetted Best Product Awards. This includes coordinating with PR and brand contacts to request product samples for testing; purchasing and tracking products and supplies; making shipping labels and scheduling product sample pickups; updating trackers and project management documents; and coordinating tester communication and feedback.

This is a part-time (up to 25 hours per week) and seasonal role that will begin in November 2026 and end in March 2027. This is a hybrid role that will require availability for some in-person work at the Forbes office in Jersey City as well as photo shoots which will be located in the NY/NJ area.

The ideal candidate

• Has at least 1 year of prior relevant experience (including internships), preferably in the consumer products space
• Has administrative experience, preferably in the editorial sector; experience working on similar consumer-product awards programs or comparable work coordinating samples for review or photo shoots a major plus
• Has experience with project management tools like Monday.com or Asana
• Has strong organizational skills and knows how to take initiative to solve problems
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with remote teams; this is a highly collaborative role

The hourly rate for this role is $25.00 - $35.00
