Job summary

Metropolitan Community College seeks aTemporary CNA Instructor to prepare students for Missouri CNA certification, including classroom theory, lab skills, and supervised clinical practice.

You will oversee nursing skills demonstrations, assess student performance, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with the W.E.D. team to ensure program quality and compliance with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Hold one or more current active unrestricted Missouri nursing licensure (RN, LPN or Temporary permit).
• One year of LTC experience or current LTC employment is preferred.
• Ability to train and supervise students in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach CNA course content and competencies.
• Supervise students during clinical labs and real-world settings.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain records of attendance and progress.
• Provide feedback to students and coordinate with faculty on curriculum delivery.
