Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Temporary Nurse Apprentice to join our Telemetry team on a part-time basis. The role supports clinical staff, performs nursing care tasks under supervision, and assists with patient services on a fast-paced 12-hour shift schedule.
The position requires current Nurse Apprentice application with the Idaho State Board of Nursing and a BLS certification at hire, with about six months of CNA experience preferred.
Employment Type: Part time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Description: POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a Temporary Nurse Apprentice to join our incredible nursing team. This position is on our Telemetry floor located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd. The Boise Telemetry department serves a patient population ranging 16 years of age to 100+ years who primarily have cardiac conditions, non-hemorrhagic stroke conditions, or rapid responses from other departments within the hospital. This department is unique because it operates as a progressive care unit rather than a 'med-surg' unit. This team serves approximately 650 patients monthly. A typical colleague schedule consists of working three 12-hour shifts. Schedule: This is a temporary PRN position, 12-hour shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm. Must be flexible to work a varied schedule, this includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
