Exclusive Household Staff is looking for an experienced Temporary Nanny to care for an 8-month-old baby in a fully staffed private household in Chelsea, London.

The role focuses on attentive infant care, development, routines, and working discreetly with other staff. DBS check and references are required; Paediatric First Aid is a plus. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–8:00pm.

Qualifications

• Proven experience caring for babies around 8 months old.
• Experience in a fully staffed UHNW private household is essential.
• Warm, nurturing, and attentive infant care approach.
• Excellent understanding of infant routines and milestones.
• Proactive, flexible, professional attitude; able to work with parents and household staff.
• DBS check is essential.
• Excellent, verifiable references from previous employers.
• Paediatric First Aid certification would be an advantage.

Our client, a private family based in Chelsea, is seeking an experienced and nurturing Temporary Nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby boy while they recruit a permanent member of staff.

The family resides in a fully staffed household, with two other young children who are cared for by their own dedicated Governesses. The successful candidate will be responsible solely for the care and development of the baby, working collaboratively with the parents and wider household team to ensure a calm, harmonious, and well-organised environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Nanny who is confident caring for young babies within a high-profile, fully staffed UHNW household.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, attentive care for the baby's health, safety, comfort, and overall wellbeing
• Support the baby's developmental milestones through age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and early learning experiences
• Establish and maintain consistent routines around feeding, sleeping, and daily care, in line with the parents' preferences
• Create engaging, stimulating, and nurturing activities tailored to the baby's age and individual needs
• Work closely with the parents to maintain a harmonious and consistent approach to the baby's care and development
• Communicate effectively with the parents regarding the baby's progress, routines, and daily activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the baby, ensuring all nursery items and equipment are well cared for
• Work discreetly and professionally within a fully staffed private household, collaborating with other household staff where appropriate
• Respect the family's privacy and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience caring for babies of a similar age, ideally around 8 months old
• Previous experience working within a fully staffed UHNW private household is essential
• A warm, nurturing, and attentive approach, with a genuine passion for infant care and development
• Excellent understanding of infant routines, developmental milestones, and age-appropriate activities
• A proactive, flexible, and professional attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with parents and household staff
• A DBS check is essential
• Excellent, verifiable references from previous employers
• Paediatric First Aid certification would be an advantage
• Days: Monday to Friday

Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience.
