Qualifications

• ARRT MRI registration or eligibility to sit for MRI registry.
• At least 1 year of MRI experience.
• AHA CPR certification required at orientation and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assess and clear the patient for MRI safety.
• Review physician orders and patient charts for accuracy.
• Prepare patients and answer questions; refer to radiologist when needed.
• Begin and end MRI procedures in the system for proper billing and records.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure department productivity.
• Uphold safety standards including infection control and universal precautions.
