Job summary

UConn Health Imaging in Farmington, CT seeks a Temporary MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. The role focuses on high-quality MRI exams and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include an associate's degree in Radiology or completion of a two-year radiology program, ARRT or ARMRIT registration with MRI registration upon hire, and state licensure as applicable. This is a 12-week, full-time assignment with a 3:00 PM–9:00 PM schedule.

• Must be registered with the ARRT in Radiography or the ARMRIT and maintain current registration.
• Advanced MRI registration through ARRT or ARMRIT is required upon hire.
• Must meet applicable state licensure requirements.

Temporary MRI Technologist – Full-Time | Farmington, CT

UConn Health Imaging is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team in Farmington, CT for a temporary, full-time assignment.

Position Summary:

As an MRI Tech, you will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll use your experience and expertise to perform MRI exams safely and efficiently while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced technologist who enjoys working in an outpatient imaging environment and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

Position Details:

• Full-Time, Temporary Position
• 12-week temporary assignment
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, with the opportunity to pick up weekend shifts as needed
• Location: Outpatient imaging center in Farmington, CT @ 5 Munson Road, Ste 110
• Start Date: Friday, December 11, 2026
• Assignment Ends: Friday, March 5, 2027
• This temporary position is not benefits eligible.

Requirements

Education:

• Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) and maintain current, valid registration.
• Advanced MRI registration through ARRT or ARMRIT is required upon hire.
• Must meet the applicable state licensure requirements for the state in which they practice.
