Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year in a call center.
• Healthcare experience in HMO environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with basic computer apps (email, databases, word processing, spreadsheets).
• Ability to listen, ask questions, and clearly explain information.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle difficult interactions with professionalism and empathy.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Aufgaben

• Respond to member inquiries by telephone, email, chat, or fax regarding Commercial, Exchange, and Individual health plans.
• Assist with claims-related billing questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve issues within timeframes.
• Document and refer appeals and grievances per policies.
• Educate members about the Advantage Referral Program and online self-service tools.
• Provide courteous assistance during emotionally sensitive interactions.
• Respond promptly to service requests and follow through on commitments.
• Meet department quality, productivity, and attendance standards.
• Report system issues or trends to supervision.
• Interact with tact and courtesy.
