What You Get To Do:
Serving under Production leadership, the Temporary Manufacturing Floater provides crucial hands‑on technical support across multiple manufacturing departments. While the primary focus of this role is merging and organizing kits, this highly versatile individual will also float between Material Prep, Assembly, and Machine Operations based on daily production needs. This position requires attention to detail and the capacity to perform repetitive tasks at a sustainable pace
Challenge Yourself – The Specifics:
- Merges and organizes kits for the team.
- Packages finished goods utilizing the packaging machine.
- Cuts various materials, including wire, tape, light, and channels, to precise lengths using measuring tapes and laser measuring devices.
- Navigates the virtual ERP system (IFS) to accurately track, log, and process material data.
- Assembles, tests, and modifies prototypes or custom electronic parts and systems, including soldering wires based on existing documentation and schematics.
- Safely uses equipment required for the completion of work orders, including soldering irons, heat guns, powered wire stripping machines, and various saws.
- Checks, tests, and inspects finished goods to identify defects and ensure compliance with technical specifications before they are shipped to the customer.
- Performs all work in strict accordance with established safety procedures, including the mandatory and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintains a clean, organized, and "tour-ready" work area by performing shared team duties such as sweeping, dusting, and de-cluttering.

You Have a Unique Combination of Skills, Talents and Mindset, Including Many of the Following:
- High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience and training are typically required
- Minimum of one year working in a manufacturing/distribution environment, quality assurance, assembly, testing, or experience working in an environment using hands tools and equipment
- MS Office (Word, Excel) and Fishbowl Inventory is a plus
- Excellent listening and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Must have excellent attention to detail, be driven, work well independently, and have a knack for problem‑solving
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic machinery or equipment, preferred
