Position Overview

The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a temporary maintenance worker to assist in repair, maintenance, and construction of institutional facilities; groundskeeping, event setup, painting, and related duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, up to 1,040 hours per fiscal year. Anticipated start date is April 2024.

Position Details

• Pay rate: $15.50 per hour, up to 37.5 hours/week; no benefits.
• Temporary position with expected hiring in Spring 2024.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks, groundskeeping, and related duties.

• Perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals.
